Karla Blalock Named Analytics Marketer of the Year; TAG Marketing Honors PointClear Exec at Annual Awards Presentation Nov. 17

The award, one of eight presented by TAG Marketing, a society of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), was given to Blalock in recognition of her excellence and achievements in accelerating business through marketing analytics.

Karla Blalock, chief operating officer at PointClear, an Atlanta-based prospect development company, was named Analytics Marketer of Year at the second annual Tech Marketing Awards presentation Nov. 17, 2011. The award, one of eight presented by TAG Marketing, a society of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), was given to Blalock in recognition of her excellence and achievements in accelerating business through marketing analytics.

“This is quite an honor,” said Blalock, who has spent more than 25 years marketing, sales management and operational positions within the service, manufacturing and distribution industries. “All of us at PointClear are passionate about leveraging technology for operational efficiency and to assure client satisfaction. It is gratifying to be recognized for the analytics innovations that allow us to effectively deliver to clients the highly qualified sales opportunities they need,” she added.

In her role as COO at PointClear, Blalock helps B2B clients in technology, healthcare and business services industries improve margins and grow sales. She’s responsible for all client operations—from program planning to delivery, from measurement against business objectives to reporting. The Sales Lead Management Association named Blalock one of 50 most influential people in sales lead management in 2010, and in 2011 she was named one of SLMA’s inaugural 20 Women To Watch. She’s a member of TAG, Women in Technology (WIT) and American Association of Inside Sales Professionals (AAISP).
