Some people go to college, some people work their whole lives,” says Leanne. “I save dogs and Pay It Square has helped in a huge way. It’s not complicated or time consuming, and it helps that the money goes right into my PayPal account.

Pay It Square, the easiest way to collect money online, has announced the availability of their service for holiday fundraising. Pay It Square makes holiday giving easy by allowing either individuals or charities to contact potential donors, track collections and stay organized by creating an account on PayItSquare.com. Donors can easily contribute to the cause of their choice via PayPal, credit card or direct withdrawal from a bank account.

‘Pender Perfect Pets,’ a dog rescue organization, recently utilized the site to raise funds to rescue dogs. Run by Leanne Scalfaro, a receptionist at a veterinary clinic in Pender, NC, Pender Perfect Pets is not a recognized 501c3 non-profit, which made collecting money online difficult. In addition, Leanne had trouble finding the time to carry out fundraisers and local events.

With Pay It Square, Leanne was able to quickly set up a collection page for each dog she rescued, state the amount needed to cover the costs and then watch as a community of donors contributed directly to her cause via PayPal.

“It was great,” says Leanne. “I don’t have much time to spend collecting money between work and the time I spend taking care of these dogs.” Leanne makes an effort to find dogs that would not normally have a second chance. “I look for the old dogs, the dogs with medical problems. Everyone always adopts the puppies, so I try to find ones that don’t stand a chance in the fierce competition of doggy adoption.”

Leanne, with the help of Pay It Square, has collected enough money to save 10 dogs. Each animal is a new case which requires different needs such as food, spay / neuter operations, and transportation from North Carolina to new homes.

“Some people go to college, some people work their whole lives,” says Leanne. “I save dogs and Pay It Square has helped in a huge way. It’s not complicated or time consuming, and it helps that the money goes right into my PayPal account.”

About Pay It Square:
Founder Brian Anderson came up with the idea for Pay It Square after many years of playing soccer in different leagues. He realized how much effort it was for the team captains to manage the team's registration every season. In many cases, the team managers or organizers just paid the entire registration fee. Then, they would pester people for weeks to collect all of the money. Often, they were not able to collect everyone's payments and sometimes even lost track of what payments were made; this is where Pay It Square comes into play. It allows organizers to set up a dedicated web page with content about what they are collecting for, amount they need per person and a system to manage those payments.
