Rare “Gone with the Wind” Collection Now on Display at Circa Savannah

Circa Savannah, the city’s premier Historic Gallery and Tour Provider acquires an important collection of Gone with the Wind letters and memorabilia and is now on display and available for purchase to interested parties.

The original Mitchell letter is typed on Margaret Mitchell letter head and is dated June 3, 1941. It reads in part: “I have just received from my Bulgarian publisher copies of Gone with the Wind published in your language.” It is signed cordially as “Margaret Mitchell Marsh”. On Selznick International Pictures letter head dated November 25, 1936, it reads in part: “I am attaching herewith a break-down of the characters on Gone with the Wind.
