Great care and expertise was used in coding the complex Voice Commands for this camera and there's not another exactly like it. This prominent feature is still carried on in the new version 1.5.8 update. A key design requirement was not to have a large voice window in the center, which is not practical with an image viewer, particularly on smartphones. Instead, an on button and a voice meter indicator is out of the way, along the side. Key voice words includes "Smile", "Cheese", "Snap" and "Ready", which controls the shutter and zoom for Say Cheese Camera. The talk back voice is executed after a picture and is virtually programmable. However, this voice feature is not expected to be heard on the iPhone anytime soon.

The free Say Cheese Camera App for Android devices is developed by rainapps, llc. Launched in 2010, rainapps successfully blends technology and creativity together, and has already published two free Facebook applications, rainFrames and rainSlides, with a Facebook marketing tool, PowerUP!, launched earlier this year. The Founder was previously involved with the software and creative development of a leading personal cutter, which obtained the national #1 infomercial position. The development team combines over 50 years of technology experience.
