TAPP's goal is to be the voice, advocate & resource for part-time professionals...
Malden, MA (PRWEB) November 30, 2011
The Talented Alliance of Part-time Professionals (TAPP) is conducting a survey of company hiring practices to understand the growing phenomena of part-time employment. According to the Department of Labor, there are 27 million Americans working part-time, 18 million of whom do so voluntarily. Survey participants are asked to share why their companies hire part-time employees, as well as the economic factors and work-life balance issues involved in those decisions. The survey seeks to examine the different industries, size firms and areas of the country that employ part-time professionals. The results will be shared on the TAPP website and in future newsletters.
