Pregnancy Magazine Group, today announced the transition of Pregnancy Magazine from its original print to a new, digital format, making one of the leading editorial resources for expectant and new moms available in the App Store™, Google Android store and on the Kindle. The new, digital version of Pregnancy Magazine is ideal for today’s “millennial moms” who live an on-the-go, mobile lifestyle, accessing most of their information digitally instead of in print. The new format also offers advertisers a dynamic platform to reach a targeted audience with interactive, rich media advertising that is both relevant and appealing to new moms. Pregnancy Magazine’s first digital issue will debut in early 2012 and be available for the iPhone®/iPod touch®/iPad® app, Android devices and the Kindle Fire.

According BMS Media, mothers control an estimated $2.1 trillion in annual household spending. Today’s new moms are part of the highly mobile “millennial generation,” living a digital lifestyle and getting their information and entertainment from their mobile devices anytime, anywhere. Reaching today’s moms through their mobile devices is critical to influencing their buying decisions. A 2011 survey conducted by Texterity and BPA Worldwide showed that 66 percent of the mobile audience takes action on mobile advertising, while 40 percent actually make a purchase based on mobile advertising.
