The Latino Business Chamber of Greater Los Angeles has announced their 3rd Annual Latino Business Awards will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. This awards luncheon, held at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, will recognize individuals who have shown exemplary work in their field within the Latino business community. Escamilla is a member of the ERA Hispanic Council, the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) and is an active member in her community. Escamilla volunteers weekly with Hispanic youth as group director of the Rio Mesa High School Folklórico Club. Since 2007, Escamilla has witnessed students from various backgrounds, which share a passion for folklórico, unite, support each other and motivate other students to accept and embrace diversity.
