San Diego, CA (PRWEB) December 01, 2011
To create the 2011-12 rankings, U.S. News surveyed nearly 180 pediatric centers to obtain clinical data and asked 1,500 doctors in 10 pediatric specialties where they would send the sickest children. In this year's BEST CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS Honor Roll, 76 different hospitals ranked among the top 50 in at least one of 10 specialties: cancer, cardiology and heart surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology, neonatology, nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology, and urology.
Eleven were named to the Honor Roll for high scores in four or more specialties. Three of these eleven premier Honor Roll organizations use one or more software solutions developed by HealthLine Systems (HLS) http://www.healthlinesystems.com
