Fitness Center Collecting Items for Toys for Tots

Big Vanilla Athletic Club will host a Holiday Bazaar and Open House at its Arnold location, 1209 Ritchie Highway, and its Pasadena location, 26 Magothy Beach Road, on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Both events are free and open to the public. Activities will run from 9am-8pm with the holiday bazaar open from 9am-12pm and again from 4pm-8pm. The Arnold and Pasadena Fitness Center is asking attendees to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the club’s Toys for Tots drive. Toys will be donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program and distributed as Christmas gifts to needy children in Anne Arundel County.

The Holiday Bazaar includes local vendors selling artwork, handmade jewelry, books, knitted items, baked goods and more. Attendees will also have a chance to win a Kindle Fire. Kid’s crafts, kid’s fitness classes and a visit from Santa will also be part of the festivities.

Attendees of the Holiday Bazaar are invited to try Big Vanilla’s health and fitness programs for free including aquatics classes, TRX and Kettle bells. Space is limited for some of the fitness activities and interested participants should stop in at the club location of their choice to register in advance. Arnold’s Open House and Holiday Bazaar will be from 8am-12pm and 4pm-7pm and Pasadena’s will be from 10am-2pm and 4pm-8pm.
