Once again, Twiniversity has put another set of products through their vigorous rounds of testing, and this time, Britax came out a winner.
Months back, some members of the Twiniversity Testers team were asked to try out the Britax B-Agile Stroller; Britax B-Safe Car Seat; and the Britax Baby Carrier. Over the course of several weeks, they were asked to use these products in their daily life and provide honest feedback.
During the Twiniversity Approval process for the Britax B-Agile Stroller, B-Safe Car Seat & Baby Carrier, testers were asked to record their thoughts on the products ease of use; safety features; and overall likeability. The independent reviewers were given Britax B-Agile Stroller, B-Safe Car Seat & Baby Carrier to be used over a series of weeks. The reviewers were also asked to take photos and record videos, to help illustrate why they liked or disliked certain features. Since 100% of the Twiniversity review team would “highly" recommend Britax B-Safe Car Seat to another mother of multiples; and the majority of the reviewers would “highly recommend” the Britax B-Agile & Britax Baby Carrier, all three products have officially been awarded the “Twiniversity Approved” stamp.
The testers gave the Britax Baby Carrier glowing reviews. One tester commented, “Let's face it, toting twins around New York City is no fun, but placing one twin in the carrier, allows me to trade the huge bulky double stroller, for a lighter more convenient single stroller.”
Some of the features of the Britax Baby Carrier the approval team liked the best were: it's accessibility and how secure the baby feels in the carrier.
Another tester noted, “I like how easy the Baby Carrier is to put on. (There are) no difficult maneuvers, like reaching around to fasten in the back."
The Twiniversity Testers also highly recommend the B-Agile stroller. Although the B-Agile is a single stroller, using it in conjunction with the Britax Baby Carrier made it the perfect pair for strolling around town. In particular, the Britax B-Agile stroller was applauded by the approval team for its light weight and its manageability. One tester said “I'm in Love, Love, Love!!! I am probably going to buy the b-ready with the double seat because, of how amazing the B-Agile is!! It is the triple threat: lightweight; easy to fold and unfold; and a travel system in one!!”
With the glowing reviews of the B-Agile stroller and the Baby Carrier already noted, the overwhelming rating of 100% was awarded to the B-Safe car seat. The Britax B-Safe Car Seat was praised by reviewers for design and safety features. “I really liked the buckling system. The base installation was very easy to install; (and I) love the latch system too!!” commented one tester. “I like how smooth it hooks and unhooks from the stroller and base,” noted another tester. With Britax being one of the premier manufactures of Car Seats, no wonder our Twiniversity Testers team loved it so much. Britax has put so much thought and effort in creating flawless products that are used by parents of multiples and singletons alike.
Twiniversity, the worlds fastest growing online home for thousands of parents of multiples, was formed in 2009 with the main goal to help connect families of multiples. Since their launch, they now reach over 25,000 families in over 19 different countries and are growing everyday.
Natalie Diaz , founder of Twiniversity, explained why Twiniversity started its own approval process by saying, “Parents of multiples trust other parents of multiples more so than anyone else. Since our community is such a tight knitted one, we depend on each other for support and guidance. Even though twins occur one in every 30 deliveries, it’s still rare, and the fact that our group shares this common bond makes us a real close community.” She goes on to say, “This trust is not taken lightly, so when we decided to start our own review process, we took several factors into consideration, most being twin specific and unique to our community. We want to make sure that time, safety and finances are considered, since they are what Twiniversity families are most concerned with.”
“Twiniversity Approved” recipients are recognized on the specific standards set forth by the Twiniversity team, and tested by independent families of multiples, who are not paid for conducting reviews.
Twiniversity is the fastest growing online community for parents of multiples, since its founding in February 2010. Twiniversity is lead by Natalie Diaz, mom of six-year-old twins; writer for Twins magazine; teacher of the Twins 101 series; multiple parent advocate and Director of The Manhattan Twins Club.
