"Ho Ho Hilarious! The funniest Christmas revue around!" -The New York Press
Asbury Park, NJ (PRWEB) December 01, 2011
Asbury Park’s ReVision Theatre is pleased to announce “A Christmas Survival Guide, a Miniature Christmas Spectacular!” conceived and written by James Hindman and Ray Roderick (creators of ReVision’s 2010 sold out hit, The Bikinis) with musical arrangements by John Glaudini. The production runs Friday, December 16 – Sunday, December 18 at The House of Jazz (formerly Chico’s), 631 Lake Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ.
Through songs and sketches, this musical comedy revue takes a wry and knowing look at the most stressful time of the holiday season. The cast learns to cope with the holidays in ways that are hilarious and heart-warming. The show is suitable for all ages and features a variety of hilarious renditions of familiar Christmas songs (such as “The 12 Steps of Christmas”).
Co-Directing the show are Bob Angelini of Ocean and Brett Colby of Asbury Park. Mr. Angelini is director of the West Park Players at Ocean Township High School, and Mr. Colby was last seen as The Narrator in ReVision’s Rocky Horror Show.
Music Direction is by Andy Hertz (last seen conducting ReVision’s Hair). The cast includes Joseph Ronga, Samantha Croce, Anthony Preuster, Julia Whary, Spiro Markos and Chuck Cutaia.
Available tickets are $15-$30. Current ticket holders will be contacted regarding the change in venue and performance times. All performances will occur at The House of Jazz (formerly Chico’s). Performances are Friday, 12/16 at 7pm, Saturday, 12/17 at 2pm & 7pm, and Sunday 12/18 at 2pm. Seating at The House of Jazz is limited and the show is expected to sell out quickly.
