LocumTenens.com Survey: Psychiatrists Show Highest Level of Job Stability in Five Years

A higher percentage of psychiatrists state that they have no plans to change jobs at this time than in the previous five years.

The percentage of psychiatrists stating that they have no plans to change jobs at this time has increased 17.5 percent to 47 percent over 2010. This percentage has grown 27 percent since 2007, suggesting greater job stability for psychiatrists.

LocumTenens.com released its 2011 Compensation and Employment Survey results which measures compensation levels as well as employment trends. Additionally, in 2011 physicians were asked about their experiences with Medicare and their opinions of the upcoming Medicare reforms implemented by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
