Twenty exhibit and sponsorship sales professionals will convene on February 23, 2012, to exchange ideas about how to apply industry best practices to strengthen exhibit floors and sponsorship programs.

Exhibit Sales Roundtable (ESR), an invitation-only workshop for exhibit and sponsorship sales professionals, announces that its first event will be held at the Washington Marriot Metro Center in Washington, DC on February 23rd by Sam Lippman, producer of Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum (ECEF), Large Show Roundtable (LSR) and Attendee Acquisition Roundtable (AAR).

ESR provides 20 exhibit and sponsorship sales and service professionals the opportunity to meet, network, learn and share from peers and a select group of subject matter experts in a hands-on, interactive format. Attendees will walk away with the knowledge to apply the latest practices and techniques to strengthen their exhibit floors and sponsorship programs.

The workshop features a full day of discussion facilitated by Sam Lippman. “ESR participants will exchange best practices and help solve problems,” says Lippman. “They’ll also learn from nationally known experts in exhibit and sponsorship sales and service.” Lippman will draw on his 35 years’ hands-on experience as an event producer (CES, GRAPH EXPO and PRINT) and consultant.

ESR participants will join senior executives from sponsors ACT/Expocad, ds+f, Freeman, National Trade Productions and Trade Show Executive in order to:

  • Learn innovative exhibit and sponsorship pricing
  • Explore the benefits of various exhibit space assignment procedures
  • Determine the value of packages and best ways to communicate this information to prospects
  • Find, hire, motivate and retain star salespeople
  • Discuss the pros and cons of outsourcing some or all sales
  • Expand sales efforts internationally
  • Discuss non-exhibit floor participation – meeting rooms, outdoor displays and special events

As with his other events, ECEF, Large Show Roundtable and Attendee Acquisition Roundtable, Lippman has designed ESR to provide participants a learning environment that is collaborative, productive, inspiring and 100% noncommercial.

All ESR participants must qualify to attend and the event is limited to 20 seats. No more than two participants per organization may attend. If approved, the first participant from each organization will be charged $325. The second participant from each organization will be charged only $195.
