Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) December 01, 2011
Market uncertainty due to the current global economic climate has pushed many organizations to reassess their future IT budgets. Seeking solutions to counteract reduced revenue, enterprises are turning to the development of IT cost optimization strategies to revitalize outdated infrastructures, deliver efficient new services, and reduce infrastructure license costs.
WSO2 will provide IT professionals with best practices for addressing these demands in a webinar entitled, “Develop an Infrastructure Cost Optimization Strategy.” The free one-hour webinar is being held on Wednesday, December 7, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PST. Developing an Infrastructure Cost Optimization Strategy
The webinar will explore how IT development and operation teams can choose platforms with lower development costs, minimize infrastructure growth, and select alternatives with lower startup and maintenance costs. The session also will examine how the 100% open source WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform and WSO2 Stratos cloud middleware platform can be used to support these objectives.
The session will be presented by WSO2 Vice President of Business Development and Product Design Jonathan Marsh and WSO2 Vice President of Technology Evangelism Chris Haddad. Jonathan has more than a decade of experience helping to develop, standardize and promote core XML and Web services standards, and he previously served as an active member in the W3C and WS-I working groups and OASIS technical committees. Chris has led research teams at Garner and the Burton Group, advising Fortune 500 enterprise organizations and technology infrastructure vendors on adoption strategies, architecture, product selection, governance, and organizational alignment.
