Since it’s founding in 2009, by then 6-year- old Rachel Harris, Let’s Help Kids(LHK) has been on a mission to bring hope and grant wishes to area children who are in need of an emotional hug.

To date, wishes granted include birthday presents, summer camp experiences, bicycles, musical instruments, and even the perfect Halloween costume. Recently, the charity started by the now seven- year- old Rachel Harris and her mother Jen Sterling, owner of Red Thinking, a brand consultancy and design firm, was recognized on the website Babble.com as one of “15 Charitable Kids they are thankful for.”

"It's awesome to be included on Babble.com," says Rachel Harris, co-founder. "The other kids profiled on the site are doing great things too and it's good to know that so many kids are working so hard to make a difference, just like me."

"As the nation moves into the season of giving, Let’s Help Kids will continue to help area children with their needs and we encourage everyone to be thankful for the children in their lives," says Jen Sterling co-founder.
