Proteus Networks announced today the availability of the first in a series of workbooks designed to help prepare individuals for Juniper certification exams. The first workbook, available now, is focused on the Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert – Service Provider (JNCIE-SP) certification.
Each workbook is made up of lab exercises, configuration examples and practice tests that walk students through the topics covered on the live exams. Each topic comes with detailed breakdowns of the options and verification processes to ensure students comprehend the skills required to pass the exams. In addition to the currently available JNCIE-SP Preparation Workbook, future workbooks will be available for each track within the JNCIE level as well as Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS) and Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) levels.
The JNCIE-SP Preparation Workbook focuses on the key topics of:
Class of Service
Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS)
Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
Multicast in the provider core
Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS)
Layer 3 VPNs
Layer 2 VPNs
Virtual Private LAN Switching (VPLS)
Next generation multicast VPNs (NG-MVPN)
Once an individual has mastered the individual skills needed for the exam, they can then use Proteus Networks Remote Proctored Labs to simulate the live exam experience. In this remote training program, students have access to a pre-setup lab environment where they can spend time practicing a specific skill and have a remote proctor available to answer questions and provide instant feedback on lab activity.
The JNCIE-SP Preparation Workbook is currently available and costs $500. For more information, please visit: http://www.proteus.net/books/jncie-sp-preparation-workbook
