Following their national debut at the International Congress of Esthetics and Spa trade show in Long Beach, California on September 11 and 12th, Mug For Men is proud to announce they have been selected by the educational committee of Les Nouvelles Esthetique & Spa as a finalist for Best Male Product for 2011.
Attended by thousands of people associated with the skin and beauty industry, the participation in this show put Mug For Men on the national beauty map and was the catalyst for this honor.
Mug’s Founder, Kevin Kenneth Konczal said, “After thousands of hours of work to develop the most nutritious men’s skin care product on the planet (http://www.mugformen.com), we knew we were on to something when customers started re-ordering our skin care products, saying how much they loved the product, its ingredients and the scent.”
Kevin went on to say, “Of course many of our early customers were friends and family who knew we put our heart, soul and every dime we had to bring these skin products to fruition." Mug Skin Care was informed in July that Les Nouvelles Esthetique & Spa would be featuring Silver Fox Face Rescue Cream in the annual men’s edition of their publication - a giant leap from research and development to being featured in this prestigious skin care trade publication.
Mug has been actively campaigning and reaching out to all their Facebook, twitter and newsletter subscribers to endorse their product by voting for them at (http://www.lneonline.com/p/showprod.php?catid=13). Voting is open through December 7, 2011.
Mug for Men’s Co-Founder, Ruthi Swartzberg added, “The ironic thing was that when we were developing our brand, Les Nouvelles Esthetique & Spa 2010 men’s edition was continuously consulted for ideas. I remember Kevin saying that one day our product was going to be featured alongside the other male products.”
Ruthi followed with, “So, here we are a few months later, a finalist for the best male skin care product of the year. While the other 3 finalists are formidable competitors with great skin care products, however we feel that our Silver Fox product is the most nutritionally packed, moderately priced, and the boldest looking brand.”
The skin care industry is a multi-billion dollar business, estimated to be worth $43 billion (US) per year. Europe and the US are the biggest markets of the industry, accounting for over 50% of global skin care sales.
Mug Skin Care's initial branding strategy was to develop products for the mature skin. But after the launch of their signature product, Silver Fox Face Rescue Cream for Mature Skin, younger guys demanded a skin care product for their skin too.
