Blue Ridge Mazda announces that former Managing Director of Mazda Motor De Mexico, Leopoldo Orellana was recently named President of Mazda Motor de Mexico, effective immediately.

Blue Ridge Mazda- one of the leading Kansas City Mazda dealerships and Mazda North American Operations, MNAO, recently announced that Leopoldo Orellana, who is currently the Managing Director of Mazda Motor de Mexico, MMdM, will become President of MMdM, effective immediately. Orellana’s responsibilities as President for MMdM will be overlooking sales, marketing, customer service and parts departments. On top of that, Orellana will also provide strategic support for Mazda's new vehicle and engine assembly plant in Salamanca, Mexico, which will open shop in 2013.

“Six years ago Mazda was unknown in Mexico," said Jim O'Sullivan, President and CEO of MNAO. "Under Orellana’s leadership, Mazda has become one of Mexico's most respected automotive brands and a household name. His new role as President will position us for further growth in Mexico and help guide our expansion throughout Latin America." Orellana was given the Managing Director position back in 2005. Since that time, Leopoldo has created a small Mazda empire of more than 30 exclusive Mazda dealerships.

Blue Ridge Mazda is a Mazda dealer located in Lees Summit, Missouri. They also have a used car supercenter which is located in Raytown, Missouri.
