The Atlanta Prom is Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Georgia International Convention Center from 7pm-1am.
The event kicks off with their signature "Limousine and Red Carpet Experience" featuring local and national celebrities, followed by a private art viewing of one-of-a-kind murals created by the TIMELESS brand Paint By Numb3rs. The evening continues with a gourmet 3-course meal and climaxing with performances by Atlanta’s Own soulful songbird ALGEBRA with special guest Grammy Nominated Anthony David, R&B hit-makers Soul For Real, and V-103's own DJ Tayrok. The evening will be hosted by Brandi Harvey, founder of Young Fit & Fly and daughter of comedy legend Steve Harvey.
What is The Atlanta Prom?
The Atlanta Prom is an elegant night of live music and dancing that offers adults the chance to revisit the beauty and nostalgia of the prom all in support a worthy cause. In 2010, local and national celebrities such as Darlene McCoy (gospel artist/radio personality – Praise 102.2), Rashan Ali (sports reporter/TV personality – Atlanta & Co.), comedians Lavar Walker, Corey “Zoo Man” Miller, and DJ Nabs were among the entertainment whom performed at the event.
Founded in 1971 by Reverend Hosea Williams, Hosea Feed The Hungry and Homeless has become the front line to assisting and feeding the working poor and homeless. In recent years, they have experienced a 35% increase in the number requests for support. Upon realizing the increased need, TIMELESS decided to use its events and services to help raise awareness and financial support for Hosea.
