Blue Ridge Mazda, a Lee's Summit Mazda dealer, is excited to announce that Mazda North American Operations , MNAO, recently reported a strong surge of sales in November by selling a few hundred over 18,000 vehicles for the month. This number shows an increase in sales, for the month, by a little over 20 percent over last year. At this point through 2011, Mazda is reportedly up nearly 10 percent with only December left.

The Mazda6 experienced a bit of a re-birth with November sales eclipsing 4,000 units, boasting a 54 percent increase over last year’s numbers! Both of Mazda’s hybrid SUV/Crossover, the CX-7 and CX-9, boasted sales increases with gains of 7% percent and 39% percent respectively. Showing the biggest gain through the month of November though was the Mazda2. In the month of November over 800 vehicles were sold, showing a 73% increase versus November of 2010.

Mazda believes that a lot of the resurgence is due to the state-of-the-art SkyActiv technology and their recommitment to fuel-efficiency, all while infusing the “Zoom-Zoom” philosophy in every vehicle.

From other parts of North America, Mazda Motor de Mexico, MMdM, reported their best ever month of November by tallying almost 3,000 vehicles sold for the month. Those numbers show for a 21% increase over last year.

Blue Ridge Mazda has two locations; one in Lees Summit, Missouri and the other in Raytown, Missouri. They also have a car service center attached to each location.
