New York City businesses get a boost from Stonehenge Partners this month as New York Artisans—such as Stella & Dot—are featured at The Ritz Plaza Holiday Market. Residents and locals alike can enjoy their NYC holiday shopping at The Ritz Plaza from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on December 9 and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on December 10th. The Ritz Plaza is located in Times Square at 235 W. 48th Street.

Joining Stella & Dot at the Holiday Market are New York City business—and Stonehenge Partners residents—Twelve Oaks Bakery, Body Blessings, Ovando and more. Additional New York artisans are being added to the roster in the days leading up to the event.

Stonehenge Partners creative director Michael Stern said the Holiday Market is the latest in the company's Do Business initiative, a program that celebrates NYC small businesses by inviting people to share their talents, products and services with community residents.

"We want to provide a way for residents of Stonehenge to meet their neighbors and benefit from the products and services they provide," said Stern. "It will certainly benefit local businesses, but most importantly, it will give residents the opportunity to meet and share something of their lives."

Other events this fall at Stonehenge included a meet-the-author event featuring Maria Murnane, author of Perfect on Paper, and Urban Girl Squad's Stylist Night, which welcomed an NYC stylist who helped residents who suffer from "I Have Nothing to Wear Syndrome." Residents sipped cocktails at the Ritz Plaza Penthouse and learned how to create flattering looks from pieces they already own.

Stonehenge has also hosted an Avon holiday show, jewelry trunk shows featuring wares from Stella & Dot and Amrita Singh, sponsored charitable giving events for organizations such as Covenant House and promoted theatrical productions featuring Stonehenge residents throughout its network of rental properties. Many of these events grew out of suggestions to the company from its residents.

"We want residents who are in business to feel supported by the Stonehenge community," said Stern, who calls the Do Business program a "win-win scenario" for both Stonehenge and its residents.

Stonehenge Partners, one of New York City’s most prominent rental companies, owns and manages approximately 3,000 apartment units in New York. The company is committed to community outreach by giving back and building better communities.
