The PlayGround Theatre’s critically acclaimed THE RED THREAD is now entering its final three weeks, with the last performance scheduled for Sunday, December 18. Purchase tickets now for this family friendly event.

THE RED THREAD is a mystical adventure that takes audiences on a visual and emotional roller coaster ride through a young woman’s heroic quest to rescue her father’s unfinished masterpiece. Her adventures challenge her mind, body, and spirit while a red thread pulls all the characters to their inevitable destination. This riveting tale of inner strength, true love and glorious reunion guarantees to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

Written and directed by Artistic Director Stephanie Ansin and Resident Artist Fernando Calzadilla, THE RED THREAD has been hailed as “a rare and beautiful story” by Miami New Times. Highlighted by stunning costumes, a vibrant set, and a brilliant cast who set out on a thrilling voyage, THE RED THREAD has been seen by more than 10,000 children and adults who have been enthralled by the visually captivating and highly entertaining piece inspired by ancient Chinese folktales.

Families with special needs are welcome at all performances; please contact The PlayGround Theatre for more information about assistive technology devices and interpretive programs available free-of-charge. On Sunday, December 4th, special accommodations will be made for audiences with sensory, motor, cognitive and other developmental challenges and disabilities.
