Metro NurSync allows clinicians to remotely select and queue patient medications, quickly and securely, from any authorized computer workstation in preparation for arrival at the MedDispense system. Metro will debut this new feature at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition, December 4 – 8 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

In addition to Metro NurSync, MedDispense systems now feature a new 17” touch-screen all-in-one PC; half height supply cabinet doors for increased control; redesigned cabinet tops for more usable work surface; a new refrigerator lock that allows for temperature monitoring and logging; and a MedDispense-compatible Starsys catheter cabinet.
In addition to MedDispense Automated Dispensing Systems, Metro’s booth (#313) will highlight solutions for nearly every department in healthcare, long-term care and alternative care facilities, from point-of-care computing solutions to clinical documentation and specialized procedure carts.
