DOMA Technologies has received award of a Technical Services Consulting contract in support of NISH’s Digital Document Services initiative.
The contract is awarded for three years and will provide industry expertise in the areas of technical support for development of business operations model, assistance with sales and marketing strategy development and implementation, assistance in collecting and evaluating industry best practices and industry standards, and technical support for the development of capacity and capability for non-profit agency businesses within the digital document services industry.
This contract extends the collaboration between NISH and DOMA to develop document management as a business line for nonprofit agencies employing people with significant disabilities. “Document management is a good business line for people with significant disabilities. “Because of its diverse and progressive series of tasks, document management offers a structured career path to individuals who may otherwise not have the opportunity” commented Paul Koepfinger, NISH’s Sr. Program Manager for Secure Mail and Document Management Services.”Document management also exposes nonprofit agencies to the expanding industries of Health Information Management and Information Technology and adds valuable skills and knowledge for the associates they employee” noted DOMA CEO Leticia Feliciano.

Established in 1974, NISH (http://www.nish.org) is one of two national, nonprofit agencies designated by the U.S. AbilityOne Commission (also known as the Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled) to support nonprofit agencies (NPAs) participating in the AbilityOne® Program.
