Washington, DC Anglican Use Society Announces Advent Lessons and Carols Services

The St. Thomas of Canterbury Anglican Use Society of Washington, DC and Northern Virginia announces that services of Advent Lessons and Carols will be offered at its two locations in the Washington, DC area this coming weekend.

The St. Thomas of Canterbury Anglican Use Society of Washington, DC and Northern Virginia announces that it will offer identical services of Advent Lessons and Carols at its two locations in the Washington, DC area.

The first service will be on Saturday, December 10th at 3:30 p.m. at St. Anselm's Abbey Church in Washington, DC. The second service will be on Sunday, December 11th at 5:00 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Annandale, VA.

The music will include works by Palestrina, Batten and Joubert at both services, and each will be followed by a traditional Anglican coffee hour. The public is invited.

St. Anselm's Abbey Church is located at 4501 South Dakota Ave, NE, Washington, DC, 20017. Holy Spirit Catholic Church is located at 5121 Woodland Way, Annandale, VA, 22003.
