New version includes both customer feature requests and adherence to product roadmap.

Ephesoft Inc., the leader in providing advanced cloud-ready capture solutions, today announced the immediate availability of its Enterprise Edition v2.4. This release comes three months after v2.3 and addresses an equal mix of specific feature changes requested by current customers and enhancements already planned in the company’s product roadmap.

Of the 22 enhancements, the most noteworthy is automatic learning where Ephesoft will automatically create an extraction rule without any programming or scripting. This user-friendly approach enables partners and users to get outstanding recognition results even quicker. It is particularly helpful in more complex Accounts Payable invoice processing solutions. Key additional features deal with PDF improvements to support PDF/A and other PDF features, certification of more SQL platforms, easier upload of files besides the traditional folder monitoring, email import, use of the web scanning ability, and optimization of tabbed PDFs.

“We’re excited to add so many powerful enhancements to meet our current and future customer needs. We take pride in being very responsive to our customers as well as growing our platform to become the standard in ‘intelligent capture’. This release shows our dedication to those goals and we’re very pleased with results from our quality assurance testing and beta customers,” said Ike Kavas, Ephesoft CTO.

Current enterprise customers may download the new version today. Evaluation versions are available by contacting an authorized Ephesoft reseller or Ephesoft directly.
