I’m excited because we can readily collaborate with other BCBAs and consultants, including Dr. Linda LeBlanc. She’s highly regarded in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and is Trumpet’s Director of Clinical Services and Research programs.

Trumpet Behavioral Health (SM) today announced that Molly M. Pomeroy, BCBA® and Natasha L. Bailey, BCBA® have joined its staff. The additions stem from Trumpet Behavioral Health’s recent acquisition of Creative Concepts Behavior Therapy (CCBT), founded by Pomeroy.

Trumpet Behavioral Health is a leading U.S. provider of behavioral services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays. In October 2011, CCBT joined Trumpet’s network of behavioral health services. “Trumpet partners with providers who embrace and demonstrate only the highest clinical standards,” said the company’s Managing Director, Chris Miller.

Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) affect 1 in 110 children in the U.S. Boys are four times more likely to be effected than girls. “The diagnosis of ASDs is on the rise. We identified a real need in Missouri and eastern Kansas for comprehensive, coordinated care for individuals and families dealing with autism and other developmental delays. And we were impressed by Molly and her team’s clinical excellence,” said Miller.

Pomeroy, now a Senior Consultant with Trumpet Behavioral Health, said the acquisition means even more families in the Greater Kansas City area will have access to leading experts and resources from across the U.S. “I’m excited because we can readily collaborate with other BCBAs and consultants, including Dr. Linda LeBlanc. She’s highly regarded in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and is Trumpet’s Director of Clinical Services and Research programs. This will help ensure our clients receive the best, latest evidence-based treatments,” said Pomeroy.

Ms. Pomeroy said her team will be able to further ease the burden on families that often have to piece together many of the other types of services a child with autism needs. “We now have more resources and are hiring more staff to provide broader, coordinated care – we even have staff to assist with insurance issues,” she said.

Pomeroy and her team provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy (ABA). Considered the therapy of choice, ABA is endorsed as a treatment for autism by the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the U.S. Surgeon General. In addition to ABA, Trumpet Behavioral Health offers evaluations, early intervention, in-home programming, speech/language therapy, peer support, advocacy, social skills, community integration, parent training, and professional education.

“We are excited to be providing expert, family-focused care for these communities,” said Miller. “Molly and Natasha are exceptional clinicians and they are going to make a big difference in the lives of many families and individuals with ASDs and other developmental delays.”

Molly M. Pomeroy is a licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) and Senior Consultant with Trumpet Behavioral Health. Ms. Pomeroy brings over 12 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, their families, and their support structures. She has been working with behavioral disorders since 1995, and focusing on providing ABA treatment since 1999. Pomeroy has a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Behavior Disorders from the University of Kansas. She completed post-graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at Saint Cloud State University. Pomeroy also consults with school districts, state funded programs and military bases to help improve the quality of services children are receiving.
