Supporting charities and our local communities is integral to being good corporate citizens; the “Gives Back” campaign reflects the Micro Matic commitment and continued support of this mission. This support comes at a time when Operation Homefront has seen an increase for requests for financial assistance and 82 percent increase in requests for food assistance over last year.
The mission of Operation Homefront is to provide emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. Operation Homefront provides direct services to alleviate a military family’s or individual’s emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and/or recovery support. Other emergency funding assistance, which an applicant receives within 24 to 72 hours, includes the following: financial assistance, emergency food, emergency home repairs, critical baby care items, local moving assistance, and wounded warrior transitional family housing.
