Grace Community Church of Plano, TX announces the change of its name of 23 years to LifePoint Church. LifePoint also announces their new mission statement: "We join people seeking purpose and offer life through Jesus Christ".

George Feiser, Sr. Pastor of LifePoint Church, said, “Over 1,200 LifePoint members enthusiastically signed their names to commit and join in this mission. Even though our name has changed, our ultimate goal remains the same; to help people know and become like Christ. We are excited about the launch of our new name, mission and site: http://www.lifepointplano.org."

George Feiser continued, "We are humbled and privileged to serve the hundreds of thousands of people in Collin County Texas and help them to do life on purpose! We expect our new church name to better reflect what we are about and distinguish ourselves from other churches in the North Dallas area. Our holiday drive and upcoming winter and spring campaigns (The Simple Life and LifePoint Loves Collin County) reflect our mission.”

George Feiser said, "One lifepoint is when people get sick and can't make it to church. So, we're recording and publishing full HD videos of our weekly sermons on our website. They are available to people who are interested in checking us out as well as members who miss a service due to travel or illness at http://lifepointplano.org/experience."
