A company which began from a garage on Long Island has recently made remarkable progress with a unique product called Grout Shield. Mike Stracuzza, the President and developer of Grout Shield has recently got his product line on the shelves of Ace Hardware, Do it Best and True Value.

After appearing on three remarkably successful national televised HSN broadcasts, Grout Shield President and Developer Michael Stracuzza has secured his Grout Shield product line on the shelves of Ace Hardware, Do it Best and True Value hardware stores across Long Island, as well as Greschlers Hardware in Brooklyn. Stracuzza, who developed Grout Shield in 1996, also has sights on expanding throughout the Southeast and Southwest of the United States with regional managers already in place.

Additionally, Grout Shield has helped so many victims of the declining economy by encouraging individuals who have lost their jobs to launch their own home-based businesses.

“There are more than 200 people who have contacted me and started their own business,” Michael says. “Many of them are people who were let go and couldn’t find a job and are now making an income of up to $60,000 a year.”

After Cheryl Hugenschmidt personally used Grout Shield on her bathroom, she was astounded how easily and beautifully her bathroom grout returned to looking like the day the tile was first laid. Using the Grout Shield line of products, she decided to launch Once and Again Pristine Grout in her Upstate New York hometown.

“Mike mentored me and guided me through what supplies I needed to get started, Cheryl says. “Grout Shield represents the heart and soul of good solid American business ethics and knowing I had quality products available to use, Mike there with solid answers to any of my questions and noticing that dirty grout was simply everywhere made it a given that I should take the steps to start a business. All I needed to add was my determination and some good old elbow grease.”Michael also encourages Mom & Pop hardware and variety store owners to carry the Grout Shield family of products and earn a nice profit margin.

As Grout Shield continues to build its path as a leader in home repair, Michael is ready to take on the next challenge to find the “worst kitchen or bathroom in the United States” and transform it to look like new.

“I am seeking to do the worst kitchen or tile/grout bathroom makeover in the United States,” Michael says. “I want to show the public how you can completely change the look of your kitchens or bathrooms for under $50.”

Set to head back to HSN this winter for another demonstration of Grout Shield, Michael continues to be excited to show viewers how Grout Shield brings dull, ugly tile/grout work back to new in just one easy application. “With just one kit, you can restore any tile floor or wall back to a clean, uniform look with easier maintenance and greater stain resistance,” Michael says.

Since 1996, Grout Shield has been providing customers with professional results. Grout Shield is a less expensive alternative to major home renovations and comes in different colors, including custom colors. Grout Shield can also be applied to existing grout, allowing homeowners to change the grout color and appearance of their tile floors, walls, counter tops and back splashes.
