Kansas State Cars.com one of the leading Ram dealerships in Kansas is very happy to announce that the 2012 Ram 2500 Power Wagon has been named the “2012 Pickup Truck of the Year” by Four Wheeler Magazine. The editors of the industry leading off-road magazine put the Ram truck through over 1,000 miles of tests on rugged terrains to determine that it beat out the rest of the competitive field for this years honors.

To qualify for the competition the vehicle must be brand new or have dramatic mechanical revisions from a previous model year. The new Ram has an all-new six-speed automatic transmission for gas powertrains, an available 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine and a new RamBox for the 6 ft. 4 inch bed.

The Ram Power Wagon includes many off-road accessories to the vehicle. These include electric-locking front and rear differentials, electronic disconnecting sway bar, Bilstein tuned shocks, 33-inch BFGoodrich off-road tires, significant underbody skid plate protection, 4.56 axle ratio and a custom-built Warn 12,000-pound winch that is accessible through the front bumper.

KansasStateCars.com is very proud of Ram and the Chrysler Group for earning this award. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon also earned the Four Wheeler of the Year award from the same magazine. People who are interested in a new Ram truck in Kansas should visit http://www.kansasstatecars.com today.
