Niel Robertson and fellow panel members to discuss the value of online reputation systems in today’s workplace.

Trada, the world’s only crowdsourced paid search and Facebook advertising services marketplace, today announced that Niel Robertson, its founder and CEO, will participate in the “Reputation is Everything” panel at the GigaOM Net:Work Conference in San Francisco, along with other well-known industry experts from Yahoo! and Klout. The panel will take place on Dec. 8 at 4:35 p.m. PST.

The Net:Work panel will examine the role of reputation in the next generation of work, strategies for measuring reputation, how it affects workers who have not traditionally had metrics-driven assessments in the past and how to use reputation positively in the workplace. The panel will feature Niel Robertson, Luke Beatty, vice president and GM of Yahoo!, and Matt Thomson, vice president of platform at Klout and will be moderated by GigaOM’s Colleen Taylor.

“At Trada, we have incorporated online reputation scores in our online advertising marketplace for both advertisers and our community of paid search and Facebook experts,” said Robertson. “The positive effects reputation scores have had on campaign performance are really game changing. It makes it easy for everyone to know when they’re performing well and what they need to work on. And it creates a motivation system that people love and that keeps them highly engaged. Measuring performance isn’t easy, but we believe it’s an important stake in the future of all work. Performance will always win out over what’s on a resume.”

The second annual Net:Work Conference will highlight the new opportunities broadband and mobility are creating for connecting work and workers. For more information on the “Reputation is Everything” panel or the GigaOM Net:Work Conference, visit
