The company also launched two new free product initiatives including CSVexpress.com, a solution that simplifies the process of loading CSV file data into any database, and TERADATAexpress, a solution designed to facilitate the development of powerful data integration and database applications for Teradata-based data warehousing and other analytical BI applications.
This emphasis on product innovation is a reflection of the company’s commitment to understanding customer pain points. As such, in addition to appointing Dave Mohr as Vice President of Sales, expressor has also hired former Pentaho Director of Enterprise Solutions, Michael Tarallo, as Technical Evangelist and Director of Pre-Sales Engineering. Both Mohr and Tarallo are veterans of the BI industry and understand the specific data challenges users face across business functions and vertical markets when it comes to data integration. In his role as Technical Evangelist, Tarallo will provide guidance and support to expressor’s rapidly growing user community and share his industry perspective on expressor’s blog sites (http://www.expressor-software.com/blogs) and Community Forum (http://www.expressorCommunity.com).
Industry partnerships have also played a role in expressor’s momentum. The launch of a new Systems Integrator program aimed at training and certifying SI consultants in the use of the expressor Data Integration Platform has enabled organizations such as Athena Solutions to take advantage of the developing market for expressor’s products worldwide.
“The emergence of cloud computing, big data and predictive analytics has created the perfect storm of data management challenges. As data continues to be the foundation for business success, expressor will continue to provide the business -ready solutions our customers require.”
At expressor software, we’re simplifying data integration by providing software that is easy to use, powerful, and affordable—enabling organizations to accomplish more with fewer resources. We dramatically simplify the vast majority of basic data integration tasks—making it far easier to map and move data from one location to another. And, when data integration becomes more complicated—requiring various types of data transformations—we help make data integration and ETL projects more flexible and efficient by enabling the creation and subsequent reuse of powerful artifacts, configurations, and business rules. This means that when a complex business data challenge is solved once, the solution can be reused.
