Bluegreen’s Miami resort, Solara Surfside, is a prime location to stay while visiting one of Travel & Leisure’s “coolest new tourist attractions,” the 11 11 Lincoln Road Parking Garage in Miami Beach.

“While our resort provides owners with convenience, comfort and fun, seeing this new structure is surely one of the top things to do while owners are here,” said Carlos Martinez, General Manager of Solara Surfside.

Bluegreen Vacations, a leading provider of Colorful Places to Play, today announced that its Miami resort, Solara Surfside, is a prime location to stay while visiting one of Travel & Leisure’s “coolest new tourist attractions.”

While the Miami area offers many reasons for Bluegreen owners to return to their elegant Bluegreen Solar Surfside resort, there is now a new attraction for owners to see on their next trip to their relaxing beachfront resort. While many would guess it was a new amusement park for tourists, a new shopping plaza with the latest stores, a new museum featuring the newest up and coming artist, or even some new art decco sculpture, many would be shocked to find the correct answer would be a parking garage.

Via Yahoo, Travel & Leisure named the 11 11 Lincoln Road Parking Garage in Miami Beach among the coolest new tourist attractions in a recent story. The other 11 new attractions added to the Travel & Leisure list includes: Cancun’s Underwater Museum in Mexico; the Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi; the Cheetah Hunt Roller Coaster at Bush Gardens in Tampa, Fla.; the Metropol Parasol in Seville, Spain; the Orbit Tower in London; the Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York City; the Nanjing Sifang Art Museum in Nanjing, China; the Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong; the Strings Bridge in Jerusalem, Israel; the Harpa in Reykjavik; and the Riverside Museum in Glasgow, Scotland.

The parking garage structure, which was designed by Herzog & de Meuron and created by a cast of award-winning architects, artists, landscape architects, and designers, features 11 unique international retail shops and three dining choices along with residential and shopping parking. It sits at the beginning of Lincoln Road’s pedestrian promenade.

“While our resort provides owners with convenience, comfort and fun, seeing this new structure is surely one of the top things to do while owners are here,” said Carlos Martinez, General Manager of Solara Surfside. “Our Bluegreen travel guides can assist with not only directions to this parking garage, but also any other additional vacation needs or tours.”
