iLoveThis 2.0 launches today for iPhone and Android devices, giving users more ways to share what they love and discover new interests.

"What do you love right now?" That is the question the group at Become Labs (Become, Inc’s social apps division) are asking with their latest app, iLoveThis. The iLoveThis app enables users to share the things they love at any given moment and immediately post their loves to Facebook and Twitter.

“People love a lot of things: music, products, movies, places, other people,” said Skot Leach, Founder of Become Labs. “We’ve created a dedicated platform for people to broadcast what they love, share it, discuss it and discover new loves.”

The beta version of the iLoveThis app originally let iPhone and Android users share what they love by typing or taking a photo. Users are also able to share the music they love by searching their music library.

iLoveThis 2.0 is available for both iOS and Android users, and adds the ability to love locations and Twitter users. Additionally, the new streamlined interface puts an emphasis on discovering new things to love, allowing users to follow one another and browse popular and newly loved items.
“The data we’re seeing shows that people want to share what they love. Our goal is to help them do that quickly and easily. But what’s most interesting for us and what we think users will find most valuable is the ability to see what’s being loved right now across the community,” added Leach, “It’s a powerful tool for discovering new things.”

In just the first few months the beta version of the iLoveThis app has hit some big milestones:

  • The app has been downloaded nearly 22,000 times
  • Users have shared over 46,000 loves
  • Users spend an average of 25 minutes per day in the app
  • Users’ loves have had over 790,000 FaceBook impressions
  • iLoveThis was featured by Apple in the iTunes Store

The new iLoveThis app is available today in the iTunes App Store
as well as the Android Market
