3 Dozen Reasons to be an Italian
Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) December 08, 2011
Michael Hanna, son of Kenneth Hanna – the founder of Ken’s Steak House, has been cooking Italian dishes for the past 40 years. After some kind prodding from his wife, Elsa, to write down the recipes, he has written the cookbook, 3 Dozen Reasons to be an Italian Cookbook. The instructions are detailed, concise, and easy to follow – from heating the pan to presenting the meal on the table. It also includes a grocery list with items that are frequently used in the recipes and are strongly recommended to have in your kitchen at all times. The cookbook is designed to give every cook confidence.
The book, 3 Dozen Reasons to be an Italian Cookbook, NOW available as an eBook on the Kindle features more than 50 recipes in sections including appetizers, vegetables, breads, pasta, chicken, steak and seafood. “This is designed to give people who love good food and enjoy cooking the ability to do so without fear or apprehension,” explained Hanna. “If you are a calm cook, your food will taste better. If you have confidence, the meal will show.”
Michael grew up watching his parents and grandparents cook. “They used the same ingredients they had in Genoa, Italy and didn’t take short cuts. It was great training,” reflected Hanna.
The recipe of the month club is not your ordinary dish. Michael has taken an innovative approach and is not just providing a recipe for an entrée but he is providing detailed directions on how to prepare an entire meal starting with the soup, appetizer, main course including side dishes and goes as far as making a wine recommendation. “I wanted to provide people the opportunity for the full experience” shared Hanna. To sample a recipe of the month you can visit Michael’s website.
Hanna dishes up his own brand of cookbook marketing by including an active Facebook site, recipe of the month club and now an eBook. “He’s truly taking the traditional method of cooking instruction and adding the contemporary elements of video, web and email marketing,” commented Peter Martin, president of Cactus Sky Communications. “This is a recipe for success. In today’s marketplace, you need to stay connected to your constituents.”
“We use the Facebook page to give our friends and fans the feeling that they’re right in the kitchen with us. It’s like we’ve opened our home to them,” said Hanna.
