Resolve 3.2 is based upon feedback from one of our largest financial services customers -- a global market leader that relies on Resolve to monitor and issue alerts for critical infrastructure operations.

generationE Technologies, a global IT process automation (ITPA) software and solution provider, today announced Resolve 3.2, the latest release of its flagship ITPA software offering for wireless and telecommunications service providers, enterprise IT departments and network operations centers.

Designed to break down traditional process and organizational constraints and deliver cost and productivity savings through automation and social media-powered human interaction, Resolve 3.2 is now available.

The software is ideal for use in event and incident management, customer care, provisioning and other applications, and enables easy orchestration of business-critical processes across complex heterogeneous systems and cloud environments.

“Resolve 3.2 drives innovation and customer service improvements, which are key ingredients for growth in today’s business environment. Its unique human-centric and next generation ‘social’ approach to process automation is poised to fundamentally change the way enterprises and service providers operate today,” said Casey Kindiger, CEO of generationE Technologies.

Key new features in Resolve 3.2 include new process analytics capabilities that allow IT managers and business analysts to access real-time and historical information on how automated IT and business processes are performing. The integrated Resolve Process Analytics application provides all the reports and executive dashboard features needed to quickly make tactical and strategic decisions.

In addition, the software gives network engineers and IT operations personnel the ability to create their own power applications within Resolve. By leveraging the new Interactive Workflow Designer toolkit, any user can create custom forms; database tables; flexible workflows; and drag-and-drop, business logic-driven user interfaces – without any programming knowledge. This also allows for quick runbook creation.

Other key highlights of the new release include:

Enhanced Business Process Workflow - Resolve now provides the ability to model entire end-to-end IT and business processes that require human interaction as part of the process workflow. In addition, automation procedures within Resolve can now be initiated or halted in response to an event, email or as part of a manager approval process.

Rich User Interface Experience - Resolve’s collaborative Web 2.0 Wiki-based user interface now allows users to create different sections within a document such as forms, URLs, attachments and other user interface (UI) widgets as needed to create valuable knowledge documents and interactive automation procedures.

Self-Monitoring – New administration, auto-restart and self-monitoring functionalities provide alerts on system availability plus built-in reporting of key health and performance metrics.

“This new release is based upon direct feedback from one of our largest financial services customers – a global market leader that is dedicated to operational excellence and relies on Resolve to monitor and issue alerts for its most critical infrastructure operations,” said Duke Tantiprasut, CTO of generationE. “With Resolve, they are able to respond faster and more cost effectively as events occur, with a calculated cost savings of $1 million annually through the pilot program alone.”

Adds Tantiprasut, “We’ll continue to improve upon our platform and look to our customers for insight on features that will help them the most. Future Resolve releases will build upon the strengths of our Resolve collaboration and automation engine and follow our mission to place human ingenuity at the forefront of workplace activity.”
