In designing the new website, a primary objective was to incorporate more social media portals into the site’s framework to better facilitate sharing, networking and collaboration by users of the site.

Partners in Torah, a unique Jewish learning system that facilitates nearly 4,000 phone-based study sessions per week, has just unveiled its newly redesigned website, http://www.partnersintorah.org. Since its establishment 15 years ago, Partners in Torah has successfully engaged over 30,000 students in weekly Torah study, and its new website is aimed at improving the user experience for both current and future students, so that the organization can better serve an even larger number of students in the coming years.

In designing the new website, a primary objective was to incorporate more social media portals into the site’s framework to better facilitate sharing, networking and collaboration by users of the site. Said Rabbi Yaacov Deyo, the Director of Partners in Torah, “We’ve had a 15% growth in our partnerships over the last year and we anticipate that this new site will create a better user experience and will enable even more people to use this free service.”

Partners in Torah consulted with numerous social media experts and web professionals who offered valuable insights into the creation of the new website. New additions to the Partners in Torah website include a blog, a direct link to the organization’s Facebook page and easy access to other popular social sharing websites. It also has a cleaner, punchier, jazzier feel. Yet changes to the website are not purely aesthetic. “With parallel changes in our database and protocols, we’ll now be able to register, interview and match people with their own personal mentor in two days or less,” noted Deyo.

Along with updated social media features, the new Partners in Torah website provides insights into the weekly Torah portion, video testimonials from real students and teachers and an explanation of other educational programs run by Partners in Torah.
