OCEANA will be dedicating the evening of March 3 to SeaBlue. The SeaBlue VIP reception and auction will help increase awareness and support for OCEANA as they continue their mission of protecting and preserving oceans for future generations. ESP will be a Manatee Partner at the SeaBlue Event, and has donated $10,000 to support OCEANA and ocean preservation. They have also committed to donating a basket that will be auctioned off the night of the event. The gift basket will have a variety of non-toxic, bpa free, and eco-friendly products including safe cookware, bpa free bottles, and bpa free containers.
“As a South Florida based company, we know how important oceans are to our lives and our communities. We are thrilled to be a part of this wonderful event that has allowed us to give back to our oceans,” says Hannah Masimore, president of ESP.
With over 500,000 members across the world, Oceana is the largest international advocacy group dedicated to protecting the world’s oceans. Since 2001, Oceana has successfully protected over 1.2 million square miles of ocean and an innumerable amount of sea creatures. Oceana has a team of marine scientists, economists, lawyers and advocates who focus on reducing ocean pollution and preventing the endangerment of fish populations, marine mammals, and other valuable marine life.
ESP’s monetary donation to OCEANA is just one of many ways they are helping foster a healthy and sustainable environment. Not only do they have eco-friendly shipping and packaging, but their products are non-toxic and eco-friendly. They have many reusable and recyclable products that help eliminate waste in our environment. ESP is also a member of 1% For the Planet, an alliance of companies who give 1% of their revenue to non-profit, environmental organizations.
