SmartWatt Energy, Inc. is pleased to announce that Stephen More and Matthew VanPelt have joined the company’s corporate office as a Senior Systems Developer and Information Technology Manager, respectively.

SmartWatt Energy is a leading nationwide provider of turnkey energy efficiency solutions for commercial, industrial, government and utility customers. The company has experienced tremendous growth again in 2011 and has expanded its Information Technology department to further support this growth.

But it doesn't stop with that. They also have the talent, creativity and experience to help our team operate efficiently and improve how we interact with our customers.”

Stephen More has more than 15 years of experience working in software design and development, storage, security, networking and administration. Most recently, he worked as an Enterprise Storage Consultant for Logic Technology, Inc., a technology solutions provider that offers best in class service to global organizations. While there, he worked directly with GE Technology Services Group. Prior to this, Stephen worked as a Senior Technical Solutions Architect, where he participated in the design, development, testing and deployment of new technology, developed new software, and was responsible for the performance, maintenance and management of all systems. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Stephen will be responsible for developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software as well as developing specialized programs.

Matthew VanPelt has more than 10 years of experience in IT, most recently working at Kincaid Network Solutions as a Senior Network Consultant and Operations Manager. While there, he was responsible for managing and supervising a team of Network Consultants, identifying and implementing new business technologies and maintaining customer relationships. Matthew has also worked as a Technician at Siemens Business Systems and Charter One Financial Corporation. He earned his Associate’s Degree from Adirondack Community College. Matthew will be responsible for maintaining the SmartWatt Energy’s nationwide computer systems, responding to and assisting all of SmartWatt Energy staff’s system and network needs, as well as testing and implementing new technological systems.
