M2SYS Technology announced today that another campus in the California State University system has deployed their RightPunch™ biometric time clock solution with Kronos’ Workforce Central software to track employee time and attendance. California State University, Fresno Association, Inc. (“Association”) joins sister campus Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, Inc. requiring employees at select campus locations to clock in and out using the M2SYS palm vein reader.
Built to eliminate employee time theft, improve accountability, reduce payroll fraud and minimize compliance risk, RightPunch™ is a biometric time clock that seamlessly interfaces with the Association’s Kronos Workforce Central workforce management time and attendance software and requires employees to clock in and out through palm vein biometric authentication, optimizing labor tracking performance.
RightPunch™ will immediately reap dividends for California State University, Fresno Association, Inc. by eliminating buddy punching (when one employee clocks in or out for another), speeding punch times, and avoiding costly legal expenses and compliance fines. Powered by the M2SYS Hybrid Biometric Platform, RightPunch™ offers support for fingerprint, finger vein, palm vein and iris recognition, ensuring that 100% of employees are reliably and consistently identified.
“Our RightPunch™ biometric time clock solution perfectly complements the Kronos workforce management labor tracking solution that is used by California State University, Fresno Association, Inc.” said Michael Trader, President of M2SYS. “RightPunch™ drastically reduces payroll error rates, expedites the clock in/out process and is a more affordable alternative to wall mounted biometric time clocks. In addition, we can’t understate the value that it adds with respect to compliance and its unmatched ability to verify individual identity beyond a shadow of a doubt.”
“RightPunch™ is an effective solution that has allowed us to provide a more efficient and easier way to ensure accurate employee time keeping,” noted Debbie Adishian-Astone, Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Operations at Fresno State. “We are confident that this solution helped to improve the integration with our Kronos workforce management system. This solution was an integral component in being able to manage and track labor costs given the current fiscal challenges being faced by institutions of higher education.”
