Rob Garf Joins Demandware as Vice President of Product and Solutions Marketing

Retail and ecommerce veteran to lead go-to-market strategy

Demandware®, Inc., a leader in on-demand ecommerce, today announced that retail industry veteran, Rob Garf, has joined the company as vice president of product and solutions marketing. In this role, Garf will tap into his more than 20 years of retail industry experience working with companies such as IBM and AMR Research to drive Demandware’s go-to-market strategy, including the development of new product and solutions messaging and packaging for retailers and brands around the globe.

Garf will also be responsible for articulating the company’s vision and differentiation by driving Digital Commerce Management (DCM)-- Demandware’s cloud portfolio strategy to deliver seamless brand engagement and grow customer revenue across all channels, applications and devices.

With an impressive resume as a retail executive, strategy consultant and analyst, Garf is an established subject matter expert, strategist and thought leader in ecommerce across multiple verticals.

Most recently, Garf served as the global retail strategy leader of IBM Global Business Services, where he helped clients develop global commerce strategies and implement consumer capabilities. Prior to joining IBM, he was vice president of Retail Strategies Service at AMR Research, where he led coverage of customer intelligence and multichannel operations.
