Advanced Systems, Inc. (ASI) today announced the promotion of Craig Cofrancesco to Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. Craig joined ASI in 2003 as its Director of Business Development. Under his leadership, ASI has dramatically expanded both its customer base and technical capabilities. In a recent award ceremony in recognition of Mr. Cofrancesco’ s accomplishments, ASI’s founder and President, Dr. Robert A. Walker stated: "Craig’s demonstrated ability in alliances management for pursuit of contracts and task order opportunities has resulted in strategic partnering and competitive wins extremely important to ASI’s business sustainment and growth.”
Mr. Cofrancescos’s expanded responsibilities as a member of ASI’s Executive Management Team will help shape ASI’s market and business strategy for effective competitive positioning of its expanding telecommunications, health systems, and defense contracting initiatives.
Mr. Cofrancesco holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University, a bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York and is in the process of completing his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.
