Electronics Technicians Association International(ETA) is proud to be exhibiting at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 10-13, 2012.
The International CES is owned and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and is the largest consumer technology trade show in the world. The 2012 International CES will feature more than 2,700 exhibitors across the 1.7 million net square feet of exhibit space.
Attendees can visit the ETA booth, number 5007, in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. ETA will be showcasing its newest certifications and will have representatives available to provide information and answer questions regarding any of the 70+ ETA certifications.
ETA is eager to introduce CES attendees to the new certifications recently added to ETA’s line-up of electronics-related certifications. “We are proud to introduce our newest certifications: Electric Vehicle Technician (EVT), Gaming and Vending Technician (GVT), Technician in Precision Optics (TPO),Photonics Technician Operator (PTO), and Passive Intermodulation Testing (PIM) at the 2012 CES,” said Teresa Maher, President, Electronics Technicians Association International (ETA). “With the reputation of being a cutting-edge consumer tech show, CES is the perfect venue for introducing the new ETA certifications in emerging technologies…” These certifications were brought on-board to meet the demands of some new and very exciting career fields.
With several casinos on the east coast already utilizing the ETA GVT certification, it’s time to show Las Vegas and CES what it’s all about. The ETA EVT certification has sparked a tremendous amount of interest from around the world. Enthusiasts visiting the Go Electric Drive TechZone at CES will have the opportunity to speak to ETA representatives about how to jumpstart their career in the groundbreaking EV industry.
