Dominion Enterprises Expands Social Media Offerings

Dominion Enterprises, a leading marketing services company, has announced the acquisition of VoxBloc, a privately-held social rewards platform based in Los Angeles, CA. VoxBloc has been a pioneer in the social rewards and gamification space, increasing the social engagement of brands like Alternative Press, AirWalk and The Vans Warped Tour.

The acquisition broadens Dominion Enterprises’ marketing services offerings, allowing customers to improve their social media engagement online. VoxBloc’s social rewards and contest platform will be a part of Dominion Social Ventures, a new division within the organization.

“VoxBloc’s social rewards and gamification platform complements our established suite of services, including website design and hosting, mobile applications, search engine marketing and CRM solutions,” said Jeff Littlejohn, president of Dominion Business Solutions and executive vice president of Dominion Enterprises. “Through our acquisition of VoxBloc, our customers will be able to create unique experiences and deepen fan loyalty through social media. This is an exciting direction for our company.”

“The VoxBloc team is extremely excited to join Dominion Enterprises. They are widely known for their breadth of innovative marketing solutions, and their brands are highly respected within their industries. The current and future VoxBloc toolset will escalate the social presence of Dominion’s vast customer base to new heights,” said Patricia Dao, co-founder of VoxBloc.

Businesses use VoxBloc's turnkey social rewards platform to enhance their social media presence and reward their most active social influencers. In one application, fans can perform various actions across major social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and YouTube. Fans are instantly rewarded points that can be exchanged for incentives such as discounts, digital goods, merchandise and exclusive event access. Through VoxBloc's gamification tools, fans can also be rewarded through leaderboards, badges and more. Since its inception, VoxBloc has generated over 150 million social impressions for businesses and has had over 50 million points redeemed for 200,000 incentives.

VoxBloc’s co-founders, Andrew Adashek, Steve Lackenby, and Patricia Dao, will remain with the company at its headquarters in Los Angeles.
