Digital Vision is intended to turn ideas of creative people in the industry into reality
New York, New York (PRWEB) December 16, 2011
Econsultancy, the global digital marketing community, recently launched Digital Vision, a grant program to drive thought leadership in marketing and advertising, with grant winners to be announced at South by Southwest in Austin Texas on March 12, 2012.
“At Econsultancy, we publish new ideas and research every day, but digital marketing is evolving too quickly to think that we have all the answers…or all the questions,” said Stefan Tornquist, VP Research, US. “Digital Vision is intended to turn the ideas of creative people in the industry into reality.”
Each Digital Vision grant will produce a piece of content for publication. The content format is the choice of the applicant – possible options include (but are not limited to) a survey, presentation, infographic, or series of blog posts. Econsultancy will provide financial backing through grants of up to $10,000; grant recipients will also have research support from the Econsultancy Research Team available to support completion of winning projects.
"The digital marketing industry is full of people with great questions that the research community hasn't answered yet," added Craig Hanna, Econsultancy's EVP for the United States." This is a chance for current and future thought leaders to pursue a topic that fascinates them, with guidance from seasoned researchers."
Winning entries will gain exposure to the more than 400,000 global members of the Econsultancy community and beyond; winners will also receive an interactive conference badge to attend the SXSW conference in March 2012.
The entry deadline for the application is Friday, December 30, 2011; Econsultancy will conduct a round of interviews with a short-list of entrants with winners to be notified on January 20, 2012. Winning proposals will be announced at SXSW on March 12.
