From author Norma Druid comes a Star Trek inspired science fiction that both young and adult readers will surely enjoy. Non-stop action awaits everyone as they witness A Test of Alien Alliance in this newly published novel.
Humans have been forced by sheer numbers to migrate to a new galaxy with multiple habitable planets. Here, they find themselves surrounded by humanoid aliens, the Varangians, who thrive on extremely cold planets. Not direct competitors, the two races watch one another warily; and after five hundred years, they agree on a mutually beneficial trade treaty.
At first, all is well, but then, three Varangians disappear in human territory. The Varangians turn to half-Varangian Commodore Nimrod Ekeroth, who heads the human environmental fleet. Now, he must find out who is disappearing both Varangians and humans and troubling the alliance.
A Test of Alien Alliance will be featured at the 2011 Beijing Book Fair in Beijing, China, on Aug. 29 - Sep. 2, 2011. For more information on this book, interested parties may log on to http://www.Xlibris.com.
About the Author
Years ago, author Norma Druid’s son asked her to write him a Star Trek story. She was working on Civil War fiction and found it liberating not having to work around actual events or worry where railroad stations were in Nashville in 1862. For years, she spun fiction as a family game with her son and a cousin. Finally, she decided she wanted her own universe, as complicated and practical as her life in insurance made her believe the future must be. Having invented one, she filled it with characters she likes to read about.
