StickBoy Studios, an upstart independent digital media company today introduced its first interactive gaming application, “Present Problems,” a fun, interactive and educational game that takes players through Jack‘s dilemma with the presents in his stocking and underneath his Christmas tree.
Just in time for the holidays, Present Problems is available from iTunes for Apple iPhone and iPad devices (http://bit.ly/itunespresent) and Android devices both mobile and tablets (http://bit.ly/androidstickboy) for 99 cents on Apple iTunes and the Android Market.
As the game’s name – Present Problems – implies, the app gives gamers of all ages the opportunity to correct the mix-up between Jack’s presents and his dog Molly’s presents. Present Problems is fun for the entire family and developed for ages four and up.
“A cute storyline that kids can work through multiple times, getting different results based on the choices they make each time,” said Erik Johnson in a recent review. “Nice little animated game for parents to work together with older preschool or younger elementary children or for the kids to explore on their own.”
Austin-based StickBoy Studios and Present Problems are the brainchild of digital media enthusiast Hiteshi Auburn, who has spent nine years and countless hours creatively entertaining her two children, one of whom is special needs.
“With Present Problems, we’ve taken a humorous, irreverent and interactive approach to developing an adventure game that’s truly fun for the entire family,” said Auburn. “Unfortunately, most games out there aren’t family friendly – that’s where StickBoy Studios comes in.”
