The lives of three friends are intertwined in the new novel “Touch of an Angel” (published by iUniverse) by debut author Confidence Chichi Uba.

“Touch of an Angel” focuses on a young girl, Nora, her life and her struggles as she advances in life. She had a wonderful family and by nature, has a good heart. She does her best to bring smiles to the faces of those she comes across but has to struggle against two individuals who see nothing wrong in causing others pain. Soon she is fighting to find balance in her confused love life. To complicate things, she becomes the target of the bad boys, and they will stop at nothing to cause her severe misery for meddling in their affairs. Her beloved twin, Nelly, may not protect her this time, for he has crises of his own.

For Ralph and Ceejay the catalyst for change in their lives is Nora. Each of them latches on to her for different reasons, and each of them finds a different outcome. Both of them, however, are certain that had they not met Nora, their lives would have been lessened.

Uba hopes her book will remind people that “…everyone is important, class or race notwithstanding. We should take out time to care on daily basis. No matter how badly the winds of life toss us, it’s possible to rise above our challenges and pick up from where we left off.”
