He is also the Co-director of the Orthopaedic Institute at Putnam Hospital Center. Dr. Buchalter is on staff at Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mount Kisco, the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City, and Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel where he has served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Buchalter received his board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery in 1990. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Khabie, a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with Somers Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and Co-Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, New York, received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, followed by an internship in general surgery at the New York University School of Medicine, where he currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Khabie is a Diplomat of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. After carrying out his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York City, he went on to complete his Fellowship in Sports Medicine Surgery at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Khabie is a Ring Side Physician for the New York State Athletic Commission where he cares for professional boxers. He also serves as Team Physician for the Pace University Athletic Department, Newburgh Free Academy Athletics, as well as for many high school, collegiate and professional athletes. Dr. Khabie is a published author in the medical literature and has made numerous presentations to both local and national groups; in addition, he was the Sports Medicine Column writer for a local New York newspaper, The Patent Trader, from 1997 to 1999, and has appeared on both NBC News and local cable television programs related to his work as a Sports Medicine Surgeon.

JASON MELNICK, M.D. – PAIN MANAGEMENT AND REHABILITATION SPECIALIST
Dr. Jason Melnick is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and recently completed a two-year, accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of South Florida. He is currently a member of the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. After obtaining his Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Florida, Dr. Melnick earned his MD degree from Temple University School of Medicine after transferring from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete an internship and residency in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the NY Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Melnick is looking forward to putting his extensive training and expertise to work in providing care for musculoskeletal and pain medicine patients. Dr. Melnick is currently in practice at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
